Thomas A. Foligno, 84, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 4, 2021. Born on February 20, 1937 in New Britain, a son of the late Nicholas and Lucille (Giannini) Foligno, he was the youngest of 10 children. Tom was the beloved husband of Jean (Colangelo) Foligno for 57 years.
Tom was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a faithful communicant of St. Dominic Church, where he served as Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed woodworking, playing and listening to music, and working at the church. Above all things, his family was his greatest joy in life and he considered every moment with them precious. Throughout his life, he used his woodworking skills to create many beautiful items for his family and his church. He was employed for 28 years as a cabinetmaker at Modern Woodcraft. He was a member of the Carpenters Union. He will be remembered for his quick wit and fantastic sense of humor, for his love of life, family, friends and his community.
Tom will be dearly missed by his wife Jean, son Michael Foligno and his wife Colleen of Dover, NH. daughter Tammy Madore and her husband Ken of Southington, and Beth Raczynski who was like a daughter, grandchildren Brandyn and Matthew Madore, Thomas and Daniel Foligno, Avery and Owen Atkinson, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church.
