The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop. At a late or early hour, now is the only time you own, so love and work with enthusiasm. Place no farther in tomorrow for the clock may then be still.

On Monday night May 11, 2020 at approximately 9:45pm (a time fixed before the foundation of the world) God penned in the annals of glory “The End,” and in a moment - in the twinkling of an eye - He called to a close on earth but the beginning in heaven the life of Marjorie Lorraine Kellum.
Marjorie Lorraine Kellum affectionately known as Peggy, the first-born child of the late William James Kellum, Sr. and Margaret Richardson Kellum on March 7, 1930 in New York, New York.
A graduate of Seward Park High School in New York City, Peggy became a member of the All Saints Church on Passion Wednesday, April 14, 1943. She completed an 8-week course on modeling at the Sepia Art Studios, Inc on May 2, 1948 and briefly modeled. She was later employed by the United States Postal Service 1968. She worked at the Flushing Annex where she served on the Credit Union Board and oversaw the parking lot. She retired in 1990 to take care of her aging mother and to help out with the care of her aunt Susie.
Peggy was a wonderful caregiver. She took care of her mother until her death in 1999. In late 2000 to early 2001 she decided to move from their home in Queens, NY to New Jersey to be closer to family. In 2005, her love for her family and desire to be closer resulted in her decision to move south to Georgia.
From a young age she loved music and dancing. She also loved traveling, crocheting, word puzzles, going out to eat, watching her TV, and playing games on her phone but most of all spending time with family and friends.
Our beloved Peggy leaves in loving memories a brother William James Kellum, Jr (Charlotte) Las Vegas, NV. Two Nieces; Leslie Kellum Obrien (Rick) and Ladora Kellum Remy of Las Vegas, NV. A devoted cousin whom she referred to as the daughter she never had, Carla Green Wilson (Lawrence) Conyers, GA, and a host of loving cousins and friends. The funeral service will be livestreamed on Friday, May 15 at 2 PM at https://www.facebook.com/Eternal-Hills-Funeral-Home-Cremation-Services-135373843179042/.
