Lisa Gay Price

Lisa Gay Johnson Price, 52, of Gladys, passed away on Wednesday, September, 6, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Russell Eugene Price. Born on January 4, 1965 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Nelson M. Johnson and the late Mary Ann Johnson. Lisa graduated from Phillips Business College and then went to work for Nationwide for 10 years. Following that she worked for Rehab Associates as a medical transcriptionist for many years before leaving to take care of her husband. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a half-brother, James Jackson. Lisa is survived by her children, Joseph Price and Justin Johnson; siblings, Terri Wilson, Nelson “Mac” Johnson, Jr. and wife Tina, and Christina Myers and husband Jamie; her dog, Max; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Gilbert Family Cemetery on East Ferry Rd, Gladys, with Rev. Phil Stevens officiating.
