He was married to Mary Aldinger, they shared 40 years of marriage.
The world lost a great man. Paul had so many wonderful memories for such a short life. The many decades in the transportation industry and his extremely outgoing personality, allowed him to meet and befriend so many people. He was loved by so many. He commanded a room and had a grand presence about him along with so many great stories.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by Father: Paul (Judy) Chumney; Mothers: Mary Ann Aldinger, Carol Aldinger; Brothers: Bill (Joanie) Aldinger, William Kerby, Danny (Janet) Chumney, Bubba (Elizabeth) Bennett; Sisters: Wildy Kerby, Leah Anna (Paul Wayne) White, Teresa (Jay) Vaughan, Jay Bennett; Son: Christopher Aldinger, Joshua Aldinger; Daugher: Amber; Granddaughter: Summer
He was predeceased by his Father Karl Aldinger, Mother Mary Kerby, and Brother Stephen Aldinger.
There will be no formal funeral services. Plans for a celebration of life will be announced when they are made.
Our family appreciates all the support. We want to extend a special thanks to Alice and Don DeVaughn, Nick Fondurulia, and Don Thompson for all of their help and support through Paul’s cancer treatment and the days leading up to his passing. We would also like to thank Dr. Shenkenberg, who gave us his personal number, and was so understanding and supportive to our family; along with Annette from Valley Baptist Medical Center who helped our family through all the difficult decisions and times.
