Welcome to our Annandale cemetery

Cemetery Grounds at Pleasant Valley Memorial ParkPleasant Valley Memorial Park is a magnificent final resting place. Serene and intimate, our memorial park incorporates Virginia’s natural beauty. Mature trees share their seasonal foliage along the paths that outline each of our well-maintained gardens at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park.

As you stroll along the picturesque grounds, you'll find a wide range of burial choices. Among our lush lawns, we feature spaces dedicated to both flush markers and upright monuments. Consider establishing a family estate, which grants future generations the unique reassurance of one central gathering place to assemble in reflection.

For those who choose cremation, we offer the comforting reassurance of inurnment, burial of cremated remains and special sites for the scattering of ashes.

Our historic cemetery in Annandale

Front Exterior at Pleasant Valley Memorial ParkIn 1963, the family estate of long-time Fairfax County resident, George Simmons, was sold to a small firm of developers who saw the need for a family-oriented cemetery open to people of all backgrounds, traditions and faiths.

The office at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park stands on the same site as the original homestead, surrounded by 5 towering black walnut trees.

Notable burials

Pleasant Valley Memorial Park marks the final resting place of many local dignitaries and socially prominent Virginia names. We enjoy recognition by the Fairfax History Commission, with a plaque denoting the re-interments of 10 slaves from the county’s Guinea Road Cemetery. Today, we provide a quiet space for reflection where all families can find respite.
