A native of Church Point, Louisiana, S.J. "Bubba" Brasseaux has more than 33 years of experience as a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Louisiana and Texas. A graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Brasseaux is a member of the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and currently serves on the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. As Moss Bluff residents for over 20 years, he, his wife and daughter are active members of St. Theodore Catholic Church. In his free time, Brasseaux enjoys music, cooking, Cajun culture and spending time with family and friends.
Jordan Ryan Mothershed
Jordan has been serving the families of Lake Charles, Westlake, Moss Bluff, Welsh and DeQuincy since 2013. A lifelong resident of DeQuincy, he graduated from DeQuincy High School and received his bachelor's degree at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. For several years Jordan has sung with a Southern Gospel Quartet, totaling over 200 dates. He loves to be around people. In December 2015 Jordan married his wife, who also serves in the funeral industry. Jordan is privileged to have his wife in his line of work with him. They are both active members of the DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce and attend First Baptist Church of Vinton. Jordan loves to spend time with his wife and enjoys attending Southern gospel concerts throughout the area.
Lewis Cilton Rougeou III
A native of Westlake, La., Lewis Cilton "Rusty" Rougeou III has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer Since the mid-80s. He attended McNeese State University, as well as Central Texas College, the Commonwealth College of Funeral Services, and the 96th Basic Regional Law Enforcement Academy.
Rusty is a member of the St. John Bosco Catholic Church, where he is a past ACTS Charter Board member and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. An Army veteran, he’s also a member of the Son’s of the American Legion, Krewe du Grande Bois, Lake Charles Diocese ACTS Mission Chapter, and a Boy Scouts supporter. He’s also served as a Deputy with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Rusty and his wife have 2 sons and reside in Westlake. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and dog.
Lori Jane Crosby
Lori, a funeral director on our team, has been serving families in the Lake Charles and Cameron areas since 2009. She is a graduate of Common Wealth Institute of Funeral Science and is certified with the International Conference of Funeral Service Board. Las Vegas born and raised, Lori moved to Louisiana in 2000. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, gardening and helping others in her community.
Charles H Minyard Jr.
Charles Minyard, a native of Carrollton, Mississippi, has lived in Louisiana since the 1940s. Beginning his funeral service career in 1963 in Alexandria, he graduated from Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science and attended Louisiana State University at Alexandria and Louisiana College in Pineville. Charles holds licensure in both Louisiana and Arkansas.
An avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and certified Hunter Safety Trainer for Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Charles maintains an active membership at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. Charles is a member of the Masonic Lodge and Greater Lake Charles Rotary Club. He previously served on the board of Compassionate Friends and has been a supporter of the Calcasieu 4-H for many years.
