    James Raines

    A Wilson County native, Brad Raines first began working in the funeral service industry while still in high school. His father, Doug Raines served in the funeral service industry for over 50 years, also serving at our location. Brad attended Western Kentucky University until 1995, and began serving as a funeral director apprentice that same year. In 1998, he earned his Tennessee Funeral Director's License and became the General Manager of our team. Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2 children.

    Harry and his family live in Smyrna and he has been providing dedicated and caring service with Roselawn Funeral Home and Roselawn Memorial Gardens since 2015.

    Ashley A Luer

    Funeral Director

    Ashley Ann Luer received her bachelor's degree in mortuary science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. She holds professional licenses in Minnesota, Florida and Tennessee. Ashley is passionate about serving people and the funeral profession as a whole.

    In her free time Ashley enjoys travel, yoga and her award-winning Maltese, Winnie.

    Courtney Hise Reed

    Funeral Director

    Courtney is a native of Manchester, Tennessee, and a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Since she was in elementary school, Courtney had aspirations of one day becoming a funeral director and embalmer. While attending Coffee County Central High School, she eagerly began volunteering at Coffee County Funeral Chapel during her junior year. Immediately following high school, she enrolled at John A. Gupton Mortuary College where she earned her degree in mortuary science. Courtney joined the Dignity Memorial team in September of 2014 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. She has since worked at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, and now serves families at both Hermitage and Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Homes.

    Courtney lives in Old Hickory with her husband, Chris, and their two rescued cattle dogs, Rayn and Gunnar. She and her husband enjoy cheering on the Nashville Predators, relaxing on cruises, watching Shark Tank re-runs, and spending time with family and friends.

    Courtney is honored to serve families and help them design an appropriate tribute for their loved ones.

    Herschel David Begarly

    Funeral Director

    Born and raised in the area of Mount Juliet and Hermitage, David Begarly graduated from Mount Juliet High School in 1974 and began working with Mount Juliet Funeral Home. David obtained his funeral director license in 2003 and began working part time with both Hermitage Funeral Home and Hibbett and Hailey Funeral Home in 2008.

    A veteran of the United States Air Force, David served 37 years in law enforcement in Wilson County before retiring and joining the Hermitage Funeral Home team full time.
