    Since the 1970s Ben has provided peace and comfort to families in the Paris and Lamar County areas through the funeral home that bears his name, Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

    Texas born and raised, Ben graduated from Prairiland High School and earned degrees from Paris Junior College and the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.

    Since the age of 14, Ben has known that the funeral industry is his calling. His reputation for fairness, compassion and adamant attention to detail precedes him within the community and industry.

    Ben is a member of the Paris Rotary Club and First Christian Church, where he serves as chairman of the board.

  • Mark A Ground

    Funeral Director

    Mark has been with Bright-Holland Funeral Home since 1996. He began his career in the funeral industry after leaving his own company, Groundcrest Farms, a registered Holstein dairy farm. He has served as funeral director since 2006. Texas born and raised, Mark graduated from De Soto High School, earned a bachelor's degree in dairy science from Texas A&M University in College Station and received his degree in funeral proficiency from St. Louis Community College. Mark is a long-time member of First Baptist Church and an active member in the Paris Camp of The Gideons International. Mark and his wife have been married since the late 1970s.

  • Bradley White

    Funeral Director

    Bradley began his career with Bright-Holland Funeral Home in 2011, working part time while attending mortuary school at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He moved to Paris in May 2014 and began working full time at Bright-Holland as a funeral director and embalmer. He graduated from Laurel High School in Laurel, Miss. and attended Jones County Junior College, where he received a practical nursing degree in 1999. After working eight years for the Baptist Health System, he decided a career in the funeral industry was a better fit.

  • James Evan Warrick

    Funeral Director

    Since 2017, Evan Warrick has been providing compassionate care to the families of Paris and Lamar County. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and went on to earn his associates degree in mortuary science from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He is happy to serve as a funeral director, guiding families through one of the most challenging times in life. He attends McKenzie United Methodist Church in Honey Grove, and, when not serving families, he enjoys RVing, working on his 100 year old home, and playing with his rescue dogs.
