McKenzie has been a funeral director and embalmer since 2017. She’s been in the funeral business even longer though, first starting as a receptionist in 2013 while also attending South Plains College. After learning more about the funeral service, McKenzie decided to attend the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service where she graduated in 2015.
Her love for the funeral industry came from watching her grandfather in the business for a number of years. McKenzie was born in San Angelo and raised in Ballinger, Texas. She is a strong supporter of community activities in Ballinger and San Angelo. She is married and has 2 boys. When McKenzie is not at the funeral home, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
