

A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St., Ames, IA 50010) with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (2210 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA 50014). Burial will take place in the Iowa State University Cemetery at a later date.
John was born February 6, 1967 in Ames, Iowa to Don and Ellen (Van Laanen) Hadwiger. John grew up and received his High School Diploma in Ames. John worked for several employers in Ames, doing various office jobs, he was most recently employed by Mainstream Employment and Learning Center.
John was a fan of country music, he like to spend his time with various activities such as bowling, horseback riding, boating and playing Frisbee, he loved to watch the Dukes of Hazard, and attended the Dukes of Hazard camp twice. John will be remembered by those who knew him for his innocence, loving heart, and warm smile.
John is survived by his sister, Mary (Keith) Pepper-Mackey, their children Analee Pepper, and Julienne Mackey; brother, Stephen (Kit) Hadwiger their children Rolena (Dustin) Stephenson, and son Dane, Philip (Savannah) Hadwiger, Paul (Shallen) Hadwiger; brother, David (Dru) Soherr-Hadwiger, their children Jenna & Lauren; sister, Edith (Bill) Goetz, Robert, Dana, Johnathon, Anna, Genevieve; sister, Arlis (Mark) DeLoach, Devon (Laura) Skadberg, Jiro & Mariko DeLoach.
John is preceded in death by his parents; Don and Ellen (Van Laanen) Hadwiger.
