Bonnie Jean Garrett

Bonnie Jean (MeMaw) Garrett, 84, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born November 22, 1939 in Lanesville, IN the daughter of Melvin and Eunice Smith Yeager. She enjoyed gardening, taking walks and eating ice cream. She is survived by her two sons, Tony Garrett of Apex, NC, and Terry Garrett; one daughter, Tawnya Poindexter of Corydon, IN; two brothers, Donald Yeager of New Washington, IN and Harlan Yeager (Karen) of Sellerburg, IN; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
