Bruce Clayton Radcliffe went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his loved ones at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He loved Jesus with all of his heart, soul and mind. Bruce lived his life serving the Lord and the people God put in his life.
Bruce was the ultimate people person and was always thinking of others and how he could help make a difference in their lives. Bruce never missed an opportunity to share his faith in Jesus and he lived out his faith day by day.
He passionately loved his wife and treated her like a princess. He was so very proud of his children and his grandchildren, always having a story to tell about the funny things they would say or do. He loved to attend all their activities and was their biggest cheerleader.
Bruce was a loyal friend who loved to visit, cook, eat, tell jokes and bring humor into his conversations and relationships. Everyone knew Bruce for his cologne at church, leaving his scent on everyone as he greeted and hugged them as they came through the church doors. His love for people was seen by his words of encouragement and the way he spent time with those he loved. He was a wonderful husband, father, papa and friend.
Bruce is survived by his wife Judy, children Bruce Radcliffe (Dawn) of Lutz FL, Vicki Graziano of Norwalk OH, Justine Byington (Aaron) of Huron OH, Rob Radcliffe (Theresa) of Holly Springs NC, Joanne Krupp (Brian) of Norwalk OH and Jennifer Justice (Jeff) of Apex NC. Grandchildren: Noah, Olivia, Samantha, Emily, Jersey, Tyler, Tanner, Madison, Cody, Hunter, Lauren, Morgan and great grandchildren Pax, Zavi and Kamille. Sisters and brothers Pam Ermer, Judy Carmack, Becky Kaltenbach, Mark Radcliffe, Charles Fry and Ronald Fry. Bruce was preceded in death by his father Eldbridge Radcliffe and his mother Betty Wooten.
The family would like to thank all the staff on 9300 at Duke University Hospital, Dr. Jeffrey Crawford, Susan Blackwell, Dr. John Kirkpatrick, Dr. Jason Webb, Dr. Sabana Pathan, Transitions for Life staff, especially Brandon and Denise and Hillcrest Rehabilitation. Bruce received wonderful care from his healthcare team throughout his battle. The family would also like to thank all of the numerous friends that have helped support our family through this time.
