He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 22 years, Sheila Schmid and daughter Abigail Schmid.
Carl was an Industrial Engineer and had a successful career as a jeweler. He was an avid reader. He loved every genre, but his favorite by far are mystery and suspense. He also loved to travel that he spent his 20s and 30s travelling as often as he could. Fatherhood defined his existence in the last 20 years of his life. He is happiest when he was with Abigail. They were two peas in a pod. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband and a doting father.
Carl’s service is scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church 625 Magdala Place, Apex, NC 27502. All are welcome to attend.
