Catherine Goodwin Prince

Catherine was born in Chatham County on March 26, 1932 to the late Emory and Edna Goodwin. She is also preceded in death by her husband Van Gordon Prince; brother, William Goodwin; and sister, Ruth Maynard.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Patricia Woody (Carrol) and Cathy Sue Harvey (Dan); grandchildren, Karen Harvey and Dean Woody (Shelly); and great grandchildren, India Woody, Nyree Woody and Gemma Woody.

A funeral service will be held at Apex Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at Apex Cemetery. Family will receive friends and guests prior to the service between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Memorial contributions can be made to Apex Fire Department or Transitions Hospice.
