Danny Lee Spurgeon

Danny was born November 13, 1946 to Harold and Lucille Spurgeon in Iowa. He worked at Hendrick Automotive in Cary, NC.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Spurgeon and grandsons, Ethan and Kyle Smith. Danny will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Connie Spurgeon; father, Harold Spurgeon; daughters, Cori Smith (Andy), Kati Sessoms (Chris); grandchildren, Logan Smith, Shaylyn Smith, Aubrey Sessoms and Tessa Sessoms; brothers, Tom Spurgeon (Donna), Roger Spurgeon; sisters, Helen Traul (Joe), Linda Sample (Larry), Susan Trout; brother-in-laws, Johnny Ashburn (Nancy), Ronnie Ashburn (Carlene); best man and friend, Jay Plummer; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on March 2, 2019 at Calvary Raleigh Church at 11:00 AM. Friends and guests are welcome to join the family for a luncheon following the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to Transitions Hospice and Calvary Raleigh Church as a special thank you from the family.
