Donald H. Brower

Donald was born May 31, 1946 in Bergen County, NJ to the late Alfred and Anne Spellman Brower. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired Deputy Sheriff with the Bergen County, New Jersey Sherriff Department. Donald, a devout Christian, loved fishing and was an avid coin collector. He had a great sense of humor, he loved to make people laugh. Above all he loved his family, they were the true joy of his life.

He was married to the late, Barbara A. Zocco Brower, from 1967 until her passing in 1995. Donald was also preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Brower; and sister, Jane Searles.

Donald is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Susan K. Brower; son, Keith Brower and wife, Heather; daughters, Cheryl Brower Shanley and husband, Kevin, Erin Brower Perrotta and husband, Giovanni, Karen Brower Raymond and husband, John; son, Michael Brower; daughter-in-law, Krystal Brower; step-sons, Michael R. Hannan and his wife, Jill Hannan; Christian T. Hannan and wife, Andrea Hannan; 14 grandchildren, Liam, Brandon, Sarah, Michael, Hailee, Grace, Katie, Anthony, Emma, Dilan, Dominic, Alexandra, Hunter, and Luke; and sister, Barbara Brower Bischoff.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 12, at 1:00pm, at Calvary Chapel,1600 Center St. Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
