Edgar Efren Pagan

Edgar was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on January 30, 1959. He was a chemical engineering graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez. Edgar was the Global Director of Manufacturing at Arkema. He was a courageous and respected leader whose impact was felt across multiple functions, countries, and levels within the organization. Edgar held a variety of technical and manufacturing leadership positions in North America and overseas during his 35 years of service. We will miss him dearly; his passion, his unwavering dedication, and most importantly, his love for his immediate and extended work family. Edgar was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Pagan; mother, Eneida Ortiz; father, Efren Pagan Reyes; son, Edgar R.; daughters, Sarah and Emily; brothers, Edward, Ernest, Elmer and sister, Eneida Pagan Ortiz.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11am Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Road, Cary, NC 27513. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow services in the Honey Creek Woodlands in Conyers, GA. on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00am
