She will always be remembered as a loving mom, grandma, and unforgettable teacher. She touched many lives throughout her career while teaching in Plainfield, NJ.
She is survived by her children; Aricia H. Watson and Lyle G. Watson, Sr., brothers; Chester A. Hicks, Jr. and Gawain O. Hicks, grandchildren; Lyle G. Watson, Jr., Zunyda M. Watson, and Jazmyn T. Moore, niece, Allison H. Tucker, and host of relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Junius Watson, Jr., sister, Eva H. Mack.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1 p.m., Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC The family will receive guests immediately following the service. Inurnment will follow at a later date in New York.
