Evelyn Ann Doyen, 90, of Apex, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her home in Apex. Evelyn was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 1, 1925. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Evelyn was a devout Christian who demonstrated kindness to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Francis Doyen.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Kevin Doyen and his wife, Ashley; daughters, Alice Doyen; and Grace Danuck and her husband, William; grandchildren, Matthew Doyen and his wife, Camrie; Andrew Doyen; Catherine Doyen; William Doyen; and Ben Danuck.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2 PM at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Wake Chapel Christian Church Cemetery in Fuquay-Varina, NC.
