Gail was born February 12, 1941 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Ira Clay Thrower and Willa Lee Thrower. She was a graduate of Cary High School and was employed with SAS. Gail was a hard worker in everything she set her mind to accomplish. She loved “Sammy”, her senior citizen cat.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband, John Emil Klein; son, Gary Lee Edwards; brother, Ira Lee Thrower; and nephew, Roger Michael Tippett.
She is survived by her sister, Eunice Tippett and husband, Roger; niece, Kimberly Faye Tippett; nephew, Jeffrey Clay Tippett and his wife, Kinzy; and great nephew, Shawn Tippett.
A Funeral Service will be held 12pm Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends 11-12pm prior to the service and immediately following.
