Gary was born May 2, 1966 in Geneva, IL. He was a graduate of Glenbard East High School. He was employed by AT&T in the telecommunication industry as a repair technician. Gary was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and was a loving husband and father. His greatest joy in life was being with his wife and children and fulfilling his dream of retiring to North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerhardt Marshall.
Gary is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jean Marshall; mother, Janet Frye Marshall; Sisters, Pam (Bob Smoot), Sandy and Barb (John Fairbairn), and numerous nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind his most treasured accomplishment of his life his 4 children: Kelsey (Alex Megrey), Cory (Mercedes Jurado), Jordan and Maxwell.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
