George Neal Hicks, 66, of Cary, died peacefully at his home on Monday, January 6, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. He was born to James and Imogene Anderson Hicks in Wake County on January 18, 1947.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue Hicks; son: Bryan Hicks of Cary; daughter: Lori Hicks of Cary; and his beloved aunt Sadie Jones of Apex. He is also survived by a brother and sister.
A gathering of friends will be Friday, January 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex.
