

Georgia was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved life, had a great sense of humor, and unforgettable laugh. She was kindhearted, loved people and was a friend to anyone who knew her.
Georgia was born and raised in Rocky Grove, Pa. and raised her family in Franklin, Pa. Upon her retirement in 1992 from Polk State Center, she and her husband Jay moved to Frostproof, Florida where she was instrumental in bringing a group travel experience to her community. When she wasn't traveling, she enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and cards. Following the loss of her husband of 69 years in April of 2016, she moved with her daughter to Fuquay-Varina, NC.
Georgia is survived by her six children and their spouses, Michael (Cindy Pinkston) of Deerfield, Ohio, Kenneth (Beverly Galupi) of Newton Falls, Ohio, Jon (Patty Toscano) of Franklin, Pa, Barbara Tobin (David) of Meadville, Pa, Jayne Howard of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Kevin (Tina Micale) of Moncure, NC, Fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jay and grandson, Todd Howard.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
