Gerald Walker Sadler, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Carolina Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC. Born on November 1, 1937 in Huntsville, AL; he was the son of the late Percy Ewing Sadler and Elah Powers Sadler.
Gerald served honorably in the US Navy and retired from IBM after many years of service. He was an avid fisherman, loved his computers, transferring music from vinyl to CD format and was a member of Cary Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Patsy Stewart Sadler, of Cary; daughter: Colleen Womack and husband James Kevin Womack, of Broadway, NC; siblings: Kenneth Sadler and Estelle Brock; and by other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Cynthia Lynn Tincher; son: Kevin Jamison Sadler and by his siblings: Buford, Bill, Thomas, and Bobby Jean Sadler.
