Jack Lee Brenneman

Jack Lee Brenneman, 82, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Wake Medical Center Cary. He was born October 6, 1928, the son of the late Arthur and Ada (Kelly) Brenneman. He served his country proudly in the US Coast Guard from 1945 – 1949. Jack married Linda Steffey on October 9, 1964. He owned his own business that made surgical instruments and later retired from Bristol Myers Squibb in 1993. Jack was a member of Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed target shooting, western movies, bowling, and being on the water.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda; children, Daryl Patrick and husband Andrew of Virginia, Jeffrey Brenneman of Hillsborough, Alan Brenneman and wife Jo Ann of Connecticut, and Tim Brenneman and wife Kelly of Raleigh; grandchildren, Heather Moura, Ronald Patrick, Richard Patrick, Keith Patrick, Jason Brenneman, Sean Brenneman, Elizabeth Brenneman, and Korey Brenneman; great- grandchildren, Morgan Moura, Brooke Moura, and Colin Patrick; brother, Larry Brenneman; and sister Kay Simon and husband Paul; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Roland Brenneman and sister, June Brenneman Butterfield.

Services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 12:30 PM at Salem Baptist Church, 1821 North Salem Street Apex NC. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday evening, March 13, 2011, from 5-8 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex.
