He is survived by his wife, Gladys Efird Perry; and three daughters, Janet Perry and partner, Joann Hmura of Durham; Phyllis Page and husband, Royce of Idaho; and Sherri Decker and husband, Eric of Apex; four grandchildren, Amanda Decker; Aaron Decker; Kaylee Page; and Jackson Page.
A graveside service will be held 1pm Monday, February 2, 2015 at Markham Memorial Gardens, 4826 Trenton Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
