Joanne Louise Admire

Jodie was born August 26, 1935 in Paris, IL to the late Ernest L. Stephens and Edythe G. Zimmerly. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Stephens and sister, Nancy Stephens. She is survived by her two sons, Kirk O. Admire and wife Laura and Parry J. Admire; daughter in law Lisa Bohlen-Admire; brothers, Ernest Stephens and Russell Stephens; sister, Sara Sue Law; grandchildren, Mariah B. Admire, Sophia M. Admire and Sydney L. Admire.

She was a graduate of Paris High School in Illinois. She received a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Master's degree from Maryville University in Missouri. She taught business skills to eager learners at the high school and college levels.

Jodie was the most loving mother, grandmother and friend to the people in her life. She brought a smile to all she met through her wit, style and sassiness. Her love and unselfishness will be deeply missed.

A private family memorial service and celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
