He is preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Enna Sue Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his sister: Mary Frances Womble of Winston Salem; several nieces; and his step children.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the fellowship hall of Olive Chapel Baptist Church. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
