Jon David Peeples

Jon was born October 20, 1962 in Dothan, AL. He was a graduate of Lincolnton High School in Lincolnton, NC and NC State University. Jon was employed as a project manager for Progress Energy. Work which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his family and friends, loved boating, animals, especially dogs, sunsets at the lake, and all things outdoors. Jon will be especially remembered for his generosity, hardworking nature and ability to make everyone around him smile. He was a consummate conversationalist and many friends (and even strangers) enjoyed his funny stories and anecdotes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Chandler Peeples, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Raymond Garcia; and paternal grandparents, Betty and Lloyd Peeples.

Jon is survived by his daughters, Lauren Peeples and Morgan Peeples; granddaughter Leah; fiance', Jolanta Milczanowski (and her children, Adam and Amelia); mother, Mona Tucker; brother, Lloyd C. Peeples (Candi); nephew, Chandler Peeples; and niece, Lily Peeples.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
