

Juanita was born February 12, 1931 in Wilmington, NC to the late Lindsey Williams and Lila Brehmer Williams. She was a graduate of New Hanover High School in Wilmington and King’s Business College in Charlotte. Juanita was employed in the buying services for Belk’s Stores, where she met her devoted husband. She loved to be outdoors, she spent many hours tending her rose garden and keeping her yard meticulously maintained. Juanita loved playing the piano and had many favorite hymns and Christmas carols. She was an avid NC State Wolfpack fan, especially basketball. Juanita served as a volunteer with Union Memorial Hospital for many years. She was also a very active member of Monroe United Methodist Church and Seaside United Methodist Church.
Juanita was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lindsey Williams, Jr. and Edward Earl Williams.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill English of Apex; sons, Bill English, Jr and Anne Ferguson of New York and John English and wife, Sandy of Apex; daughter, Sarah Pinion and husband, Mitch of Charlotte; brother-in-law, Cecil English of Monroe; and seven grandchildren, Thomas Pinion, Mary Pinion and fiancé, Cody Paris, Martha Pinion Metcalf and husband, Hunter, Elizabeth Pinion, Rebekah Pinion, Will English and Laurel English Franklin.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Monday, January 18, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
