Judith “Judy” Lillian McClintock, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on September 4, 2024 in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Born on October 8, 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts; she was the daughter of the late Hugo Arthur Andersen and Olga Swenson Anderson.
Raised and educated in Jamaica Plain, MA; Judy married John R. McClintock in 1968. They enjoyed raising their family of boys in both Charleston, SC and Virginia Beach, VA. She loved her pets and loved to donate to various animal charities. She enjoyed collecting dolls and enjoyed traveling and visiting Walt Disney World and her children and grandchildren.
Judy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years: John R. McClintock; sons: James McClintock and wife Mimi, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Steven McClintock and wife Suzanne, of Owego, New York, and David McClintock, of Fuquay-Varina; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; 9 nieces and nephews; and her sister and brother-in-law: Eileen and Paul Lund, of Florida. Judy was preceded in death by her siblings: Donald R. Andersen, Barbara Ann Spongberg, Doris Elanor Masone, Charlotte Viola Bahrikis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the McIver Center of Apex Funeral Home. Family will receive following the service.
