June Beverly Bistis

June Beverly Bistis, 89, of Cary, NC formerly of New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was married to the love of her life John P. Bistis, Sr. for 63 years and always referred to him as the most wonderful man in the world.

June Beverly was born on June 28, 1935 in Olyphant, PA. After raising her four children, she worked as the office manager for a real estate development company, and obtained her realtor’s license. June Beverly enjoyed spending time on Long Beach Island with her family, where she eventually retired. She was a long-time member of the LBI Ladies Garden Club and was well-known as an avid gardener, tending to her beautiful roses. She was famous for her homemade apple pie and was known as the sweetest woman and a 2nd Mom to all the kids in the neighborhood. She was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her children, Cindi and husband, John Ebert, of Pittsboro, NC, Candi and husband, Tom McKay, of Cary, NC, John and wife, Cindy, of Lincolnton, NC, and Kim, and fiancé Jerald Davis, of Quincy, MA; grandchildren Tommy, Jaclynn, Kendall, Stefanie, Julia, Jackson and Olivia and great grandchildren Layla, Chase, Levi, Cameron, Luna, Cody and Parker.

No services are planned at this time.
