Kevin was born in Rochester, N.Y. on July 10 1970 and was the oldest son of Jon and Barbara (Owens) Copperwheat. Kevin was a graduate of the State University of New York Fredonia, was an Eagle Scout, a proud 300 game bowler and avid NY Yankee and Syracuse College follower. Kevin was employed at Carolina Cable and Chain of Raleigh at the time of his death.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Jon and Barbara of Apex, his wife Angela, sons Timothy and Jason of Charlotte, brothers David (Clare) of Cary, Brian (Janet) of Raleigh, special nieces Mary, Macy, Katelyn, Hailey and Skye and other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11 AM at Apex Funeral Home (550 W. Williams Street in Apex), with visitation to follow the service. A private interment will be held later at the discretion of the family.
