He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy, brother Steve Goodwin, and daughters Norma Smith and husband Tony of Apex; Donna Wolfe and husband Willie of Apex; Mary Holt and husband Kevin of Cary; Shelby Dupree and husband Michael; as well as several grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Apex Funeral Home on Sunday from 6-8 pm with the funeral service at Good Hope Baptist Church in Cary on Monday at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County.
