Just finding out today through visting hospice looking for Lori that she'd gone home to be with the lord. I worked with Lori for many years at Syracuse Plastics and through a program at SAS Institute where she would bring students there to learn a trade.  My heart is so heavy and words can not express the way I feel right now.  I will miss her terribly. To the Sykes and Smith Family, Thank you so much for letting me visit her while she was in hospice. You all made me feel really special. I will continue to pray for you all and know that you will find comfort in this time of sorrow.

Lori was a gift to so many people.  My daughter Monica Hernandez loved her very much, and she enriched her life while Monica was at Athens.  We are so sorry to the family for your loss.  We are grieving with you and remembering this wonderful lady.

I worked with Lori at Athens for many years.  She was wonderful to work with and a most caring person.  Lori also took care of my daughter, Alyssa and I always knew that Alyssa was in good hands.  My family and I feel blessed that Lori was part of our lives.  We will miss her, but always remember her with a smile.  All of Lori's family members and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was sorry to hear about Lori's death. I knew her through her work at Athen's High. I knew many of the students she had worked with by having had them in the class I work in and good friends whose children were lucky enough to have her work with them.

Marion and Family:  I am so sorry that you have lost your sweet loving daughter, Lori. Just know that I love you and am praying for you.

We were each others favorite cousin, my dad and her mom were brother and sister.

Most recently, I will remember our visits and talks at Panara Bread in Apex with Martha, where we created her facebook page but she never really liked facebook, she preferred to socialize in a more personal way.

She loved to get manicures and pedicures so in her last days in hospice I made sure her hand and feet were not forgotten.

I will miss her giggles and her warm hugs.

She loved quilts and country decor and her home was always neat and tidy.

Spiritually, she was saved as a teenager and it tickles me that we will see each other again one day and I will hear her giggle once more.

May God bless her and keep her. And may God be with her husband Tracy, her son, Justin, her sister, Jamie, and her mom and dad, Marion and George, and all her wonderful extended family and her friends during this very emotional time.

To Lori's Family:  I knew Lori as a child growing up with my two children.  She was a beautiful child that grew into a beautiful wife and mother with many loving friends and extended family members.  She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.  May God keep her unto Him and give peace, love, comfort and strength to all who knew her.  My prayers are with all of you during this sad and difficult time.

Lori was the absolute sweetest woman! And she had a great sense of humor! I miss her very much and I will think of her smile and kind ways everytime I walk into room 2900 at about 6:50AM. What a most wonderful lady!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I've been truly blessed with the honor and privilege to get to know Lori! She's greatly missed ... It's so hard to swallow the reality that she completed her work here on earth sooner, when we'd prefer later. Lori's been a part of our Curves for over 7 years and will continue to live on in our hearts!  Forever, her Curves-sisters at Cary - South.

Lori is an inspiration and a joy to have known! I am lucky to have known her and find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in peace. She is the epitome of beauty and courage, and will be missed greatly!

I loved my niece Lori and will miss her very much. She is no longer in pain or suffering and is at peace now.  She has gone to be with our "Heavenly Father" and "His Band of Angels" who will be taking care of her. I pray that the family will find comfort and peace during this sad and difficult time.
