Margie Jordan Walters

Margie Jordan Walters, 87, passed away on April 10, 2026. Born May 26, 1938, Margie was a beloved and faithful presence to all who knew her, and her life remains a testament to steadfast love, enduring family, and unwavering devotion. Margie lived in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina.

Margie fought cancer for five years with remarkable strength and perseverance. Through it all, she remained deeply rooted in her faith—always loving the Lord, always ready to share the word of God, and always offering a kind sendoff to friends and strangers alike: “God bless you.” Her faith was not only something she carried; it was something she gave away freely, uplifting others with every conversation and every gentle encouragement.

Margie is survived by her sister, Nancy Truelove, of Holly Springs; and her brothers, R. Lawrence Jordan, of Cary; Aaron Jordan, of Holly Springs; Ronnie Jordan, of Holly Springs; Donnie Jordan, of Cary; and John Jordan, of Fuquay-Varina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Walters, and her son, Steve Walters.

Margie’s life was a celebration of faith and family, and her legacy will continue in the hearts of those who loved her, learned from her, and were blessed by her steady kindness. In remembering Margie, may all who knew her carry forward the simple, powerful message she shared so often—“God bless you”—and may her memory remain a source of comfort and uplift for years to come.
