Mark was born September 19, 1953 in Nash County to George and Margaret Kissel. Mark retired from Forensic Electrical Engineering after nearly 25 years of service. During his time at Envista, he helped establish many careers as he trained countless new engineers. Mark wowed many clients with his expertise and insistance on over the top customer service. He was regarded as a true gentleman as evidenced by his grace, humility, sense of humor and camaraderie. In addition to being a passionate family man, he was an avid sailor, a talented woodworker and an amazing photographer.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Kissel.
Mark will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Tina; mother, Margaret; daughter, Cameron (son-in-law, Jonathan); grandsons, Landon, Brayden and Mason; brother, Greg (sister-in-law, Denise); and sister, Debbie (brother-in-law, Phil).
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home. Family will receive friends and guests prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
