Michele Ditillo

Mike was born in Italy on July 17, 1940 to his parents, Francesco and Rosa Ditillo. He moved to the United States at the age of 18. Shortly thereafter, he met the love of his life, Gloria. The two were married for 59 years, and had three children and four grandchildren. He loved playing soccer and was a semi-professional goalie, but what he loved most was his family, close friends, good food, his abundant garden and his beloved New York Mets.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife, Gloria; his daughter, Lisa Speroni Perez (husband Albert); his son, Michael Ditillo (wife Lourdes); his son David Ditillo (wife Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Jared, Michael, William and Connor.

Family and friends are welcome to attend wake services on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Apex Funeral Home, 550 West Williams Street, Apex, NC. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Mother Teresa Catholic Church, 1125 Mother Teresa Drive, Cary, NC. Memorial Service to follow in New York at a later date.
