Miriam Carmela Squitieri Tuosto

Miriam was born in Bronx, NY to the late Andrew Squitieri and Clara D’Angelo Squitieri. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Miriam was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hartsdale, NY and Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Philip Tuosto; daughter, Claireann Naumescu and her husband, Alexandru of Fort Mill, SC; son, John Tuosto and his wife, Concetta of Katonah, NY; grandchildren, Melissa Rhodes and her husband, Bradley; Philip Garofolo and his wife, Julie; Pamela Day and her husband, Kevin; Andrew John Garofolo; Nicholas Tuosto; John Angelo Tuosto; and Christopher Tuosto; and great grandchildren, Ava Capri Rhodes; Gabrielle Miriam Rhodes; Noah Pierce Garofolo; Thomas Philip Day and Michael Vincent Day.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502, with a prayer service to follow at 7pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hartsdale, NY at a later date.
