Miriam Louise Williams

Miriam Louise Williams, 89, beloved wife of deceased husband Robert G. Williams, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2014. Loving mother of Karen Williams (Mike) Owen of Apex, NC and Keith (Amy Bailey) Williams, of Alabama; grandmother of Scott Owen, Greg (Christina) Owen, Leah Williams and Caroline Williams (Ben) Dicks; and great grandmother of Anthony, Anna , Caleb, Isaiah, Rebekah and Rachel Owen.

Miriam was born in Logan County, Ohio on January 27, 1925 to Omer Hengsteler and Lulu Swank Hengsteler. She received her teaching degree from the University of Cincinnati after her two children were in school and then taught Kindergarten in North College Hill public schools for 20 years. Miriam and Bob attended North College Hill United Methodist Church.

Later, she and Bob retired to Mason Christian Village, Mason, Ohio where Robert expired. She later moved to Apex, North Carolina to be closer to family. She resided in Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center of Apex at the time of her death.

Family will receive friends Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 1-2 PM at Apex Funeral Home, with Funeral Services to be held at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel.
