He is survived by his mother: Rebecca Frances Gilliam of Apex; sister: Angela Gilliam of Scotsdale, AZ; brother: Kent Gilliam and wife, Gina of Apex; and a close personal friend and brother in spirit, Dan McMains of Apex.
Chris is preceded in death by his father and brother, Alex.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Salem Baptist Church, 1821 N. Salem St, Apex, NC 27523. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
