Paul Stephen Shellman

Paul Stephen Shellman, 54, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Born on February 27, 1962 in St. Paul, Minnesota; he was the son of Nancy Haney Shellman, of Raleigh, and the late Dale Shellman.

Paul owned and operated Aardvark Exterminating Company for 18 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing hockey and poker.

Including his mother, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Martha Smith Shellman; three children: Joshua and Crystal Shellman, of Fuquay-Varina, Rachel and Corey Schmoldt, of Fuquay-Varina and Jacob Shellman, of Angier; two grandchildren: Hannah Shellman and Charlie Schmoldt; five siblings families: Dwight and Joleen Shellman, Michael and Cheryl Shellman, Valerie and Peter Norman, Michelle and James Huddle and Sharmane and Patrick Meacham; numerous nieces and nephews; the Smith Family; and other family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2-3 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, with a Celebration of Paul’s Life to begin at 3 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church at 7900 Ten-Ten Rd - Raleigh, NC 27603.
