Reggie, the youngest of five children, was born October 15, 1928, in South River, NJ, to John and Sophie Sierpinski.
Reggie married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Edward W. Pasterczyk, on April 23, 1949. They were happily married for 72 years, until Ed’s death in 2021. Reggie spent most of her life in Spotswood, NJ, where she retired as the Spotswood Borough Clerk.
After retiring, she and Ed moved to Del Webb’s Spruce Creek Country Club in Summerfield, FL, where they lived happily for 23 years. In 2021, they moved to The Reserve at Mills Farm retirement community in Apex, NC, to be closer to family. Ocean cruising was a passion of Reggie and Ed, and they embarked on somewhere around 75 cruise trips, most of those on the Holland America line. They also enjoyed gambling trips to Atlantic City and later to Biloxi, MS.
Her parents and four siblings: brother John Sierpinski, sisters Genevieve Capik (“Jean”), Leokadia Weirich (“Lee”), and Beatrice Sierpinski (“Mary”) predeceased her, along with a nephew, Gary Weirich.
Reggie is survived by her son, Ken Pasterczyk (wife Reg) of Chicago, IL and Lewisville, NC and her daughter Robin Ungano (husband Greg) of Siler City, NC.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
