Richard Franklin Green, 91, of Cary, died Monday, October 01, 2012 in Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Green was born on January 23, 1921 in NC to George Jackson Green and Stella Clements Green. He was a graduate of Cary High School and the University of North Carolina.
He is survived by his children: Ned F. Green and wife, Margret of Charlotte; Mary Garrett and husband, Patrick of Cary; Paul R. Green and wife, Kim of Indianapolis, IN; brother: Horace “Boe” Green of Cary; sisters: Nell Sears of Apex and Emma "Tet" Walton of Morrisville; grandchildren: Kathryn Garrett, Bryan W. Garrett, and Camille Green.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, October 5, 2012 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Clements Family Cemetery, Morrisville.
