Robert “Bobby” Spencer Goodwin, 69, of Wake Forest, formerly of Apex, NC died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Durham VA Hospital. He served in the 356 Signal Battalion of the Army in Viet Nam, Korea, and Germany. He loved his Country very much.
A Funeral Service will be held 11am Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Olive Chapel Baptist Church, 600 New Hill - Olive Chapel Road. Apex, NC 27502. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Goodwin; his sisters Alice Jones and Sue Readling; and his two sons Randy Goodwin and Kevin Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his father Dewey C. Goodwin, who passed in 1996.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Olive Chapel Baptist Church would be appreciated. Designate gift to the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Fund.
