Robert was born July 26, 1950 in Newark, NJ. He was employed as a truck driver for many years.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Columbus DeJohn; brother, Thomas DeJohn; and niece, Jamie DeJohn.
He is survived by his daughter, Jeneane DeJohn and future son in law, Conor Morris; mother, Virginia Sunbury DeJohn; sister, Linda Best; and brother, James DeJohn; Godchildren, Tina (Eric) Sanchez; and James II (Megan) DeJohn; nieces, Dana (Nick) Geris, Lisa Wall, and Jordan DeJohn. Many great nieces and nephews, and best friend, Mary DeJohn.
The family will receive friends 2-4pm Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. A prayer service will be held immediately following at 4pm at the funeral home.
