Robert Eugene Long

Robert was born on May 8, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late, Paul and Mary Ellen Long. He enjoyed spending time with family and serving his community through Holly Springs United Methodist Church. Known to many for his kindness, love of collecting trains and dragons, and ability to take life ‘easy’.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jack Long; son, Curtis Clark; and grandson, Cody Blevins.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Amanda Sheldon (Blake), Krisann Blevins (Richard), Patti Robinson (Mike), Beverly Stiles (Pat); son, Michael Long (Aimee); and wife of 26 years, Flo Long; Many grandchildren including Reese Sheldon, Ryan Sheldon, Richmond Sheldon, Kristine Blevins, Zach Blevins, Jessica Holmes, Benjamin Bowman, Chasity Amaya, Cheyenne Veya, Michael Burns, Curtis Clark, Nikki Belles, Ashley Harper, Cory Upperman, Ashley Robinson, Joey Leichner and many beloved great-grandchildren.

A private close friend and family service will be held in Apex, NC with burial in Columbus, Ohio at a later date.
