Robert V. Loy, Sr. age 95, of Holly Springs, NC on Sunday, September 29, 2013. Beloved husband for 43 years to the late (Mary) Claire Loy (Delehanty) formerly of Dormont, PA. Preceded in death by his daughter, Susan M. Van Ormer, (Cole) of Pittsburgh, PA. Father of Connie McGuinness (Richard) of Holly Springs, NC; Robert V. Loy, Jr., of Cary, NC; Joseph M. Loy (Sandra) of Pittsburgh, PA; Patricia Case (John) of Raleigh, NC; Deborah Rogers (Todd) of Holly Springs, NC, and ten grandchildren. Brother of the late Dorothy Quesenberry (Cliff) of Bristol, VA and the late Richard Loy (Mary) of Laurel Springs, NJ. Robert retired from Equitable Gas in Pittsburgh after 46 years of service and relocated to North Carolina, where he was involved with Meals on Wheels, the Senior Men’s Club and the International Seaman’s Center of Wilmington, NC. He resided with his devoted daughter, Connie, and her beloved husband, Richard, in Holly Springs, NC, since 2006. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service and Interment will be in Pittsburgh, PA at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, East McKeesport, PA on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
