He is survived by his wife, Janet; son, Mike Dixon and wife Phyllis; daughter Michelle Edwards; brother, Stanley and wife Nancy; and nephew Daniel. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Victoria, Hannah, and Daniel.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
