Russ was born on December 11, 1948 in Staten Island, New York to Russell E. Martin Sr. and his wife Grace (Cook) Martin.
Russell was a graduate of Port Richmond High School in 1966. He served in the United States Navy from 1967-1971 and was a small business owner for much of his career.
Russ loved golfing, camping, cooking, and rooting for the New York Giants. Russ had a terrific sense of humor, and loved spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn; sons Scott and Gary; daughter-in-law Kati; grandchildren Abigail, Nate, and Jack; sisters Norma, Linda, Marianne, and Ellen; and many nephews, nieces, and other close family and friends. He loved and was loved. We will miss him dearly. Russ will be celebrated at a private gathering of close friends and family.
